M Memories 2 DVD - USB Northwest Indiana and Chicago area transfers

Pricing

Pricing depends on format and length.

We quote by tape, reel, or image count. Cost depends on the media type, running length, and any extra work needed.

How We Quote

Three common job types

Tape Transfers

Priced by the tape and its running length

VHS, camcorder tapes, and similar formats are quoted according to the amount of footage and the tape type.

Reel Transfers

Priced by the reel and footage length

8mm and Super 8 jobs depend on reel size, footage length, and the number of reels.

Slides and Photo Projects

Quoted by quantity and project scope

Slide scans, photo scans, and slideshows are quoted by how many images are involved.

Finished Order

The final copy can be simple and easy to use

Some customers want a DVD they can keep with the originals. Others want a thumb drive that is easier to copy and share with family.

We go over that choice with you when we quote the job, so the finished order matches how you want to use it.

Common Questions

Common pricing questions

Can I get a quote before leaving the media?

We can go over the pricing when you bring the media to the booth.

What if a tape has problems?

If a transfer needs more work or has issues that affect the price, we contact you first before moving forward.

Why is pricing not one flat number?

Old media varies too much by length, condition, and format for one flat rate to be accurate.

Is there any risk with older media?

Yes. Like any conversion service, there is always a small chance of damage with older tapes and reels.
